QNB Group wins four national awards for advancing Qatari talent

QNB Group has been honored with four prestigious awards at the inaugural Qatar Private Sector Nationalisation Awards 2026, organized by the Ministry of Labour. This recognition is a testament to the group's dedication to cultivating Qatari talent, offering career prospects, and cultivating a skilled national workforce within the banking sector.

The group was awarded the "Leading Nationalisation Enterprise Award – Financial Services Sector" and the "Excellence Award in Attracting and Hiring National Talent." Additionally, it received the "Best New Employee Programme Award – University Graduates" and the "Best New Employee Programme Award – High School Graduates." At the executive level, senior executive vice-president Khalid Ahmed al-Sada was bestowed with the national excellence award for those possessing over 16 years of experience.

These accolades underscore QNB Group's strides in Qatarisation, a national priority. Currently, Qataris comprise more than 60% of the group's workforce and hold 76% of its leadership and senior positions. Furthermore, women make up 64% of the Qatari workforce, and Qatari nationals manage all branch manager positions. The group sustains these endeavors through initiatives, such as the QNB Open Recruitment Day, held in partnership with the Ministry of Labour.

Heba al-Tamimi, senior executive vice-president for Group Communication, expressed pride in the group's achievements at the inaugural Qatar Nationalisation Award.
