QC explores investment opportunities in Zambia

Qatar Chamber's First Vice Chairman, Mohamed bin Ahmed bin Twar Al Kuwari, met with Zambia's Chargé d’Affaires Stanley Kachabe to explore potential investment opportunities between the two nations. The discussion centered on strengthening trade relations and identifying ways to attract Qatari investors to Zambia.

Al Kuwari highlighted that Qatari investors are keen on investing in Africa, a continent that presents promising opportunities in various sectors. He emphasized Qatar Chamber's commitment to supporting and encouraging Qatari businesspeople to explore investment prospects across Africa, specifically in Zambia, which offers attractive investment prospects.

Stanley Kachabe, for his part, expressed Zambia's enthusiasm in welcoming Qatari investors and providing a range of incentives and facilities to facilitate investments in key sectors such as mining, minerals, tourism, agriculture, energy, and infrastructure. He extended an invitation to the Qatar Chamber and Qatari businesspeople to participate in the second edition of the "Invest Zambia International Conference", scheduled to take place from December 9-11, 2026.

The conference aims to provide Qatari investors with valuable insights into investment opportunities in Zambia, facilitate B2B meetings with Zambian companies, explore potential partnerships in various sectors, and identify expansion opportunities into African markets.
