Nigerian Navy opens 2026 batch 39 recruitment

The Nigerian Navy has initiated its 2026 recruitment drive for Batch 39 of the Nigerian Navy Basic Training School. The recruitment process, spanning from October 2 to 31, 2026, is entirely free of charge and can be accessed through the Navy's official recruitment portal. The Navy Secretary's recruitment notice has called upon qualified Nigerians to apply, emphasizing that no fees should be paid to any individual associated with the recruitment exercise.

Successful candidates will be selected to undergo basic military training and subsequently be inducted into the Nigerian Navy as Ordinary Seamen. To be considered, applicants must demonstrate proficiency in the English language, as a lack of basic English communication skills could result in disqualification at any stage of the recruitment process. The Navy has clearly stated that only one valid application will be accepted, and any multiple applications will lead to disqualification.
