Nets waive F Nick Pringle prior to beginning of NBA training camp

The Brooklyn Nets have waived forward Nick Pringle in the days leading up to their NBA training camp for the 2026-27 season. Pringle, 24, signed with the team less than a week prior to his release. Brooklyn had previously signed and waived DJ Rodman and Aaron Scott ahead of the camp, suggesting they were evaluating G League representation.

Pringle played college basketball for six years, starting at Wofford, then attending Dodge City Community College, Alabama, and South Carolina before his senior year at the University of South Carolina under head coach John Calipari. He had his best college season in 2024-25, averaging 9.5 points and 6.3 rebounds per game while shooting 57.2% from the field for the Gamecocks. If waived, Pringle could potentially play for the Nets' G League team in the future.
