🚀 My learning from last week: Linear Regression, trying Cursor, and building Jumpy Brain. My brain was literally jumping everywhere 😂

Last week, the focus was on learning and experimenting with new technologies. The journey started with diving into the Cursor AI Start program, which was introduced for India at a budget-friendly price of ₹649, equivalent to about $7. This program was designed to help individuals learn and implement machine learning concepts.

The week was also dedicated to understanding the core fundamentals of Linear Regression. This included grasping how linear regression can be used to predict trends based on historical data by identifying the best-fit line in a scatter plot. The process of finding this best-fit line involved minimizing the residual error to the greatest extent possible.

In addition to these learning endeavors, there was also a foray into building an application aimed at improving productivity for individuals with ADHD. This project, known as Jumpy Brain, was initially developed using a Random Forest algorithm for recommendation purposes. However, it became evident that the lack of sufficient data for the model posed a significant challenge. Consequently, a rule-based heuristic was implemented to maintain the project's progress.

Throughout the week, various resources were utilized to support these learning and building experiences. The author intends to share a detailed blog post about their experience with the Cursor AI Start program. Despite health issues preventing attendance at a tech meetup hosted by Qualcomm, the week was still productive and informative.
