Man dies after jumping from moving vehicle in Rawalpindi under mysterious circumstances

In the Rawat police station limits of Rawalpindi, a 34-year-old man named Adnan Yousuf tragically died after jumping from a moving vehicle while being transported to the police station on Saturday night. The incident occurred after Adnan was allegedly tortured for picking up two old bottles from a garbage bin in Bahria Town's Phase VIII.

According to an FIR filed by Adnan's brother, Shahzad Yousuf Abbasi, the man who stopped Adnan from picking up the bottles called the security staff, who then allegedly punched Adnan and tortured him in the presence of the security team. After bleeding from his nose and mouth, Adnan was rescued by the security staff and placed in a vehicle, which subsequently took him to the police post.

However, while being transferred, Adnan jumped from the moving vehicle and sustained severe injuries, leading to his eventual death. The police have registered a case of unintentional murder under Section 322 PPC and initiated an investigation. The body was sent to the District Headquarters Hospital for a postmortem examination, and the real circumstances surrounding Adnan's death will be disclosed after the forensic report is received.
