Made for Rs2 crore, Hanuman Ansh has now earned Rs400 crore worldwide overtaking 3 Idiots, Kantara and Krrish 3

Hanuman Ansh, a devotional drama based on the life of Neem Karoli Baba, began production with a modest budget of approximately ₹2 crore. Despite a limited theatrical release across 25 screens in India, the film surprisingly earned over ₹400 crore worldwide within just 52 days, marking a staggering return of more than 200 times its cost.

Its slow start was evident as the film collected only ₹10 lakh on its opening day and continued to struggle in its first week with ₹1.08 crore in earnings. However, word-of-mouth marketing proved to be the film's secret weapon; exhibitors gradually added more showings, expanding from 40 screens in the second week to nearly 400 by the fourth week.

By the fifth week, Hanuman Ansh was playing on over 6,000 screens across India. The film's momentum continued, with each subsequent week bringing in over ₹10.40 crore in net earnings, leading to a remarkable ₹60 crore net weekly haul in India's final weeks. On its eighth weekend, the film grossed ₹18.95 crore, with a staggering ₹9 crore on a single day alone.

This surge in ticket sales propelled the film's India net total to ₹307.03 crore, with an India gross of ₹362.70 crore, around Dh152 million. Overseas, the film's global gross stands at ₹401.20 crore, with an impressive ₹38.50 crore earned in its first week outside of India. Hanuman Ansh has now claimed a spot among the top 50 highest-grossing Indian films of all time, surpassing Krrish 3 and Chennai Express, and ultimately claiming the lifetime totals of 3 Idiots and Kantara.
