Jets Get Major Breece Hall Injury Update After Scary Quad Injury

The New York Jets endured another defeat on Sunday, losing 31-24 to the Detroit Lions. This was the second consecutive week the Jets were closely matched before ultimately falling. Just like their Week 2 loss to the Packers, the Lions mounted a late comeback and secured the victory. The Jets now stand at 1-2 on the season. One of their star players, running back Breece Hall, is also grappling with an injury.

NFL insider Ian Rapoport revealed that Hall has been diagnosed with a quad injury following an MRI, and is currently listed as week-to-week. The injury occurred during Sunday's game against Detroit. Hall was tackled out of bounds near the goal line, initially raising concern that he might have suffered a severe quad tear or other serious injury.

However, it appears he may have only strained or bruised his right thigh. While a week-to-week injury is far from ideal for a team that needs wins now, the Jets are still set to face several challenging opponents over the remainder of the season. These include the Bills and Patriots twice, the Bears, Browns, and Dolphins. With New York scheduled to play these teams multiple times, they will need every player at full strength.

Meanwhile, running back Braelon Allen has stepped in to handle some of the workload, just as he did in the first three games of the season where he amassed 61 rushing yards and a touchdown on 19 carries, along with 11 receiving yards on four catches.
