Google Photos, a popular photo management tool for Android users, has recently encountered a bug that hinders the ability to edit, share, or delete images. This issue has been plaguing many Android users, preventing them from performing basic tasks such as sharing, adding to galleries, or even deleting images. Users have found themselves unable to crop images, share them, or re-edit photos after making simple changes.

Google has acknowledged the problem and confirmed that a fix is on its way, with the company aiming to roll out a resolution "ASAP."

Various reports on Reddit have highlighted the issue, confirming that the glitch inhibits users from interacting with edited images. The problem spans from basic editing tasks like cropping to more advanced actions like sharing and deleting photos. In the meantime, Google has offered two workarounds for affected users: "Save as copy" when saving new edits, and visiting photos.google.com to delete or share already-edited photos. These temporary solutions aim to prevent the original image from being locked up and provide alternative ways to manage the affected photos until the fix is live.

While the bug has been reported by users with the latest Google devices powered by Tensor technology, the company is aware of the widespread impact.
