Dubai Global Village warns residents of fake websites selling VIP packs

Dubai's Global Village is cautioning residents against purchasing VIP packs from unauthorized websites or individual sellers. As the cultural hub set to open on October 14, bookings for the exclusive VIP packs have already begun. Dubai Police recently issued a scam warning, urging the public to be wary of fraudulent websites and social media accounts promoting fake VIP packages.

Global Village firmly states that only the official Coca-Cola Arena website (coca-cola-arena.com) is authorized to sell these exclusive VIP packs. Purchasing from unauthorized sources could lead to fraud, with the possibility of canceled or deactivated packs under their terms and conditions. Scammers often replicate or clone legitimate websites and social media profiles to create convincing fake pages, tricking people into making payments for non-existent products or sharing their personal information online.

This season's packs are newly redesigned under a Global Village storybook theme, offering seven collectable pins and a range of premium experiences and benefits. The Diamond VIP Pack is the most costly, priced at Dh7,900, while the Diamond, Gold, Silver, and Platinum tiers range from Dh1,890 to Dh3,490. Each pack includes perks like VIP parking, entry tickets, Wonder Pass cards for ride priority, and bonus points.

Anyone aged 18 or older with a valid Emirates ID can buy VIP packs. Additionally, Global Village will reintroduce its Mega Gold and Mega Silver packs, which bundle VIP benefits with passes or tickets to Dubai Parks and Resorts, which reopen on October 7. The Mega Gold pack, priced at Dh4,990, provides either eight seasonal passes or 12 park tickets, while the Mega Silver costs Dh3,490 for five seasonal passes or seven park tickets. A Dh150 priority booking fee applies during the pre-order period for both Mega packs.
