Bulls news: Bryson Graham, Tiago Splitter reveal Caleb Wilson expectations at Bulls Media Day

On Monday, the Chicago Bulls held their 2026-27 Media Day at the United Center, with an emphasis on the future of rookie Caleb Wilson. Chief among those discussing Wilson's prospects were general manager Bryson Graham and head coach Tiago Splitter.

Addressing Wilson's development, Graham emphasized the importance of flexibility and room for growth. He stated, "We have to be OK with giving him grace throughout this year. He's going to have some ups and downs. There’s going to be progress, and there’s going to be regression."

Splitter, on the other hand, has been impressed with Wilson's performance during the Summer League and in private practices. He noted, "Every day he's showing us why he's the No.4 pick," and expressed the team's commitment to helping Wilson reach his full potential.

Wilson, drafted as the No.4 overall selection in June, has already made a significant impact in his first taste of professional basketball. He was an All-Star in the Summer League and averaged impressive stats of 23.5 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.3 steals, and 2.5 blocks per game. The Bulls are set to kick off their preseason on October 7 against the Phoenix Suns, with the regular season commencing on October 21 against the Toronto Raptors.
