AmaliTech and Ghana TVET Service partner to enhance digital skills training in Western Region

AmaliTech and the Ghana TVET Service-Western Region have formed a strategic partnership to boost digital skills training in technical and vocational institutions throughout the region. This collaboration aims to equip students and educators with industry-relevant digital skills, with an emphasis on software development, soft skills, and career-readiness.

AmaliTech's CSR Team Lead, Lois Young, highlighted the partnership's significance, stating that a skilled and adaptable workforce is crucial for national development, and TVET plays a pivotal role in achieving this goal. The primary objective is to empower young people with the digital skills necessary to succeed in today's technology-driven world, whether for employment, innovation, or entrepreneurship.

The Ghana TVET Service-Western Region oversees technical and vocational education training in the region, promoting skill-based learning and industry collaborations. AmaliTech will create a customized curriculum, including bootcamps and hackathons, tailored to meet the needs of students from the Ghana TVET Service-Western Region.

The training will be supplemented by practical experiences such as internships and workshops, enhancing problem-solving abilities and practical skills. Instructors within TVET institutions will also receive capacity-building initiatives to improve their teaching skills and stay current with industry trends. This partnership underscores AmaliTech's broader commitment to creating inclusive pathways into the digital economy for young talent across Africa.
