A new era at Giorgio Armani closes out a joyful Milan Fashion Week

Milan Fashion Week concluded with Giorgio Armani's niece, Silvana, presenting her first collection for the family's eponymous brand. Fittingly, it was the last show of the Italian fashion week, showcasing the city's craftsmanship and the joy of fashion. Other notable collections included Prada, Diesel, Max Mara, Bottega Veneta, and Gucci.

Attention then shifted to Paris for the final round of the season. Silvana Armani reinterpreted Armani's iconic style, creating a more relaxed version of the brand's signature elegance. The collection featured wide-legged trousers, slinky tops, sequinned jackets, oversized shirts, metallic tuxedo jackets, and sheer dresses. In contrast, Dolce & Gabbana's Sicilian-inspired collection, Stravaganza Siciliana, celebrated the brand's extravagance with textures, memory, and personal reinterpretations.

Bottega Veneta's collection, lightness, focused on the transition between winter and summer, featuring leather craftsmanship softened with crisp fabrics, lace, fringing, and crochet. Gucci's The Store, an immersive experience, showcased Demna's vision of the brand as several distinct identities, including equestrian polish, Milanese bourgeois dressing, 1990s glamour, and rebellious youth culture.

Moschino's debut collection aimed to reignite the brand without imitating it, presenting a modern, attitude-driven wardrobe with everyday wear and irony. Max Mara's Far Horizon highlighted linen fabrics, drawing inspiration from 1930s female adventurers and presenting a smooth, luxurious alternative to traditional summer fabrics.
