A man shoots and kills his uncle at a school in southern Turkey

A bus carrying passengers collided with a car on a road in southern Turkey's Gaziantep province, resulting in seven fatalities and 16 injuries, according to authorities. The accident took place on the highway connecting Gaziantep and Osmaniye. Turkish Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi reported that one of the injured individuals was in critical condition.

Emergency response teams, including those from Turkey's Disaster and Emergency Management Agency (AFAD), the gendarmerie, health services, and fire department, were promptly dispatched to the scene following the collision. Emergency crews worked to provide medical assistance and carry out necessary response operations at the crash site.

An investigation has been launched to determine the circumstances and cause of the accident. Notably, two road accidents in Turkey have claimed a total of at least 16 lives.
