Zinox, Konga Roll Out Discount Scheme for Serving, Retired Military Personnel

Zinox Group, Africa's leading technology conglomerate, and its e-commerce subsidiary, Konga, have collaborated with the Defence Headquarters to launch the Defence Discount Scheme (DDS). This initiative aims to provide discounted rates on a variety of products to serving and retired personnel of the Nigerian Armed Forces, accessible through Konga's online platform.

Set to launch on October 1, 2026, the scheme is a part of broader efforts to develop innovative welfare solutions for military personnel and their families. Konga's platform has been integrated with the Defence Headquarters for authentication and verification, ensuring that only eligible personnel can avail of the exclusive benefits.

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Dr. George Akume, attended the launch, praising the initiative for its innovative approach that combines digital technology and strategic partnerships to deliver tangible benefits to citizens. Zinox Group, led by Chief Leo Stan Ekeh, has a history of impactful contributions to Nigeria's technological landscape, including the Computerise Nigeria campaign, which sought to provide affordable computers to millions of Nigerians.
