USA rallies to capture 11th consecutive Presidents Cup

In a dramatic finale to the 2026 Presidents Cup held at Medinah Country Club, the United States secured an 11th consecutive victory over the Internationals with a final score of 17-13. The clinching point was secured by Jacob Bridgeman, who sank a four-foot par putt at the 18th hole, defeating Min Woo Lee of Australia 1-up.

US captain Brandt Snedeker expressed immense pride in his team, crediting their unity and fight for the win. He credited President Donald Trump for bringing energy to the team, stating that the President should take all the credit for the victory. Internationals captain Geoff Ogilvy of Australia noted the intense battle, stating that it was a difficult task to beat the US in singles at home. The Americans achieved nine wins and a draw, while the Internationals had one solitary win in 1998.

Snedeker emphasized the team's unwavering faith throughout the competition, stating that "funny stuff happens here" at Medinah, a location with a history of unexpected outcomes, including the famous "Miracle at Medinah" rally during the 2012 Ryder Cup.
