Tuchel urges Bellingham to play with ‘rage’

Thomas Tuchel has encouraged Jude Bellingham to play with more aggression following England's 3-2 defeat to Spain in the Nations League. The Real Madrid player engaged in a heated exchange with his Spanish teammate Marc Cucurella after the latter won a challenge against Bellingham. In response, Bellingham set up Anthony Gordon's goal for England.

Despite previously criticizing Bellingham's temperamental playing style, Tuchel now favors the midfielder's aggressive approach, stating that it is what he naturally does and that it is beneficial for his performance. The German coach also noted that Bellingham doesn't consider his fellow national team members as teammates during matches, emphasizing that he is solely focused on winning.

Tuchel aims to start Bellingham again during the Nations League schedule in Czechia, but is cautious about the risk of burnout given the player's limited appearances this season due to his commitments with Real Madrid.
