Togbe Sesinu VI installed as new Paramount Chief of Hoe Traditional Area

The Hoe Traditional Council in Ghana's Volta Region has appointed Samuel Boafo Amewuho as the new Paramount Chief of the Hoe Traditional Area, concluding an 11-year period without a recognized traditional leader. Adopting the title Togbe Sesinu VI, his installation aims to usher in an era of unity, effective governance, and development.

During his inauguration and outdooring ceremony, Togbe Sesinu VI pledged to focus on tangible achievements rather than mere rhetoric, emphasizing that true leadership is measured by its impact on the community's well-being. Among his initial initiatives, he broke ground on an eight-unit chamber-and-hall facility designed for nurses and teachers, aiming to alleviate housing shortages for essential service providers and improve living conditions for educators and healthcare professionals.

The Paramount Chief also cautioned the youth against drug abuse, urging them to make decisions that safeguard their futures and contribute positively to Hoe's growth. He further invited both local and foreign investors to explore opportunities in agriculture, capitalizing on the region's fertile lands and robust workforce. Togbe Sesinu VI's leadership marks a significant milestone, ending a prolonged absence of substantive traditional governance in the Hoe area and setting the stage for enhanced cooperation and progress.
