TMC Leader Kunal Ghosh’s Car Attacked Again In Kolkata, MLA Alleges Bid To Kill Him | Video

In Kolkata, TMC leader Kunal Ghosh faced another attack on his car on Sunday while traveling to a non-political event at Beliaghata, according to reports. Ghosh alleged that he had been followed by unidentified assailants since leaving his home, and the incident culminated in his vehicle being damaged with firearms and hammers. "I had to seek shelter at the Narkeldanga police station and was about to file a formal complaint," Ghosh stated.

He accused the BJP of orchestrating the attack in daylight but expressed frustration with the police's inaction, questioning their motives. Ghosh emphasized his determination not to alter his stance until he faced death. The TMC MLA also mentioned that his security guard had to draw his firearm to safeguard Ghosh during the incident.

Notably, Ghosh's car had been targeted at Uttarpara on Saturday while he was en route to Serampore to attend a rally for former Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. A video shared by Ghosh depicted individuals throwing eggs and stones at his vehicle, urging him to depart the area. BJP MP and MoS Sukanta Majumdar suggested that the attack stemmed from internal disputes within the TMC.
