Thunderstorms and fog expected across Saudi Arabia on Sunday

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot and humid weather for much of northern Egypt on Sunday, extending to Greater Cairo and northern Upper Egypt. In contrast, southern Upper Egypt is expected to experience intense heat. Nighttime and early morning conditions are forecasted to be mild and humid across most regions.

Temperature differences are significant across governorates; Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt are expected to reach 32C, while northern coasts will be around 31C, and northern Upper Egypt will be 35C. Southern Upper Egypt will see the highest temperatures, hitting 41C.

There is a possibility of light rain in some areas of the Northern Coast, northern Lower Egypt, and Western Desert. Wind activity will help alleviate temperatures in the shade and during the night in open areas. Hot and humid daytime temperatures are expected to last until Thursday, October 1. Light rain is anticipated again on Monday, September 28, along the northern coasts and in Lower Egypt. Greater Cairo is predicted to reach 31C on Tuesday, September 29, with a gradual decrease in temperature as October progresses.

Meteorologists advise wearing light cotton clothing during the day, taking precautions while driving in the early morning due to potential mist, and staying informed with the latest weather maps.
