Shocking: Amitabh Bachchan reveals what he would have done after Kasab revelation on KBC

Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan expressed shock upon hearing Nikam recount his experience of meeting Mohammad Ajmal Kasab during the trial following the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. Kasab, the lone surviving gunman captured during the assault, was on the show as a guest along with actors Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi. Bachchan questioned Nikam about the delay in Kasab's execution, to which Nikam recounted the gunman's initial false accounts to investigators and the court.

Kasab claimed to be a fan of Hindi films and wanted to visit Bachchan's home, and initially stated he was arrested on November 6 instead of November 26, attributing his arrest to the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW). Subsequent tests confirmed Kasab's age, and he was ultimately convicted and sentenced to death for his role in the attacks.

During the trial, Kasab claimed to be being poisoned, with rice powder sent to a laboratory for examination. He also appeared through video conferencing and spat towards the camera as the proceedings concluded. Kasab's change in demeanor was noted as a significant development during the trial, with Bachchan reacting strongly to the revelation of Kasab's false claims.

The special episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati aired on September 25, with the trio winning Rs12.5 lakh for the Manobal organization, which works with visually impaired children.
