Raja Muda Perlis lawat Pusat Pembelajaran Komuniti Kampung Seberang Ramai

On Tuesday, Raja Muda Perlis, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail, visited the Community Learning Centre Kampung Seberang Ramai in Kuala Perlis as part of the MAIPs Peduli program, facilitated by the Majlis Agama Islam dan Adat Istiadat Melayu Perlis (MAIPs). Accompanying Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra were Minister of Communications Fahmi Fadzil, Perlis Government Deputy Noor Azman Abdul Rahman, Communications Minister Abdul Halim Hamzah, and MAIPs Executive Director Mohd Nazim Mohd Noor.

During the visit, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra had the opportunity to observe an English language tutoring class involving local students, who also participated in sessions about cyberbullying, misinformation identification, and digital safety, emphasizing the importance of safeguarding oneself online. Additionally, the cyber security awareness ceremony stressed responsible and safe communication tool usage, including increased vigilance against online scams, harmful content, and cyber threats.

The visit was also part of the King's participation in the MAIPs Peduli initiative, which supports community members in the King's Warna-Warni Seberang Ramai Kuala Perlis Project, providing participants with opportunities to approach the community and recognize the uniqueness of the local identity and heritage. During the program, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra also gladly presented MAIPs contributions to three selected beneficiaries for MAIPs Peduli edition 68 in 2021, namely Idrus Remli, 62, from Taman Wai Permai; Salmiah Hamzah, 73, from Kampung Seberang Alor, Kuala Perlis, and Rusnani Khamis, 63, from Kampung Wai.

Minister of Communications Fahmi Fadzil also spent time exploring several scenic locations in the area, including Congkak House, Paper Leaf House, Laksa House, Dodol House, and Tuanku Syed Putra Bridge. Kayuhan MAIPs Peduli is one of MAIPs' regular initiatives to directly approach the community, providing assistance to needy individuals, promoting healthy lifestyles among the community, and consistently ensuring the welfare of those in need.
