‘No role for UNRWA in Gaza’: Does the Board of Peace toe Israeli lines?

Three Palestinians sustained injuries due to Israeli drone attacks in Gaza on Sunday morning, with one of the victims facing critical condition, according to Wafa. The first incident occurred when an Israeli drone targeted a group of Palestinians in the Al-Shati refugee camp, located west of Gaza City. Another Palestinian was injured when an Israeli drone hit a region near tents accommodating displaced individuals close to Sheikh Radwan Market, situated north of Gaza City.

Israeli forces also engaged in shelling activities in areas south of Khan Younis and opened fire from military vehicles positioned east of the city. Simultaneously, artillery shelling and heavy gunfire targeted the Mawasi Rafah area in the southern Gaza Strip. Additionally, Israeli military helicopters conducted intense fire east of Gaza City, while tanks and naval vessels aimed towards the northwestern regions of the city, as reported by Wafa.

Meanwhile, in the West Bank city of Turmus Ayya, situated north of Ramallah, Israeli forces imposed stricter restrictions by closing the gate leading to the town and harassed local citizens. They also sealed off the entrances to several villages, including Aboud, Nabi Saleh, Atara, and Al-Taybeth. Furthermore, the report stated that Israeli forces established a military checkpoint at the entrance to Yabroud and Ein Sinya.
