Mimifly wins all, Siti Nurhaliza took home Best Vocal while Aisha Retno snatched Best Album at AIM 25

KUCHING, September 27 — Singer and composer Mimifly dominated the 25th Anugerah Industri Muzik (AIM25) event last night, securing a record-breaking five awards. This victory marked her as the most decorated artist at the Silver Jubilee edition of AIM, a feat even more impressive considering her independent status. The star-studded live broadcast on TVS from the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) saw Mimifly claim Best Musical Arrangement in a Song for "Nara," Best Festive Song and Song with the Most Created Videos on TikTok for "Serumpun," Best Music Video and Best Electronic/Dance Pop Song for "Temberang."

Meanwhile, National Songstress Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza also shone brightly with four awards, including Best Female Vocal for "Kesuma," Best Traditional Song and Best Song for Pesanan Buat Diri, and Best Collaboration by a Local Artist and International Artist/Composer for "Cenderamaya." Her previous nomination of 14 awards included Best Album for her traditional album "Gema Bumantara."

Award-winning singer Aisha Retno also walked away with three trophies through her album [RE.HAB], which won Best Album and Best Album Recording. The accolades from Aisha, who defeated four other notable works, included Best Local English Song for her song "O.R.B.I.T." The up-and-coming boys' group Alpha made a significant debut, winning Best New Artist for their song "Mona Lisa" and Best Pop Song for "P.Ramlee Saloma."

Nasyid group Inteam took home Best Group Vocal for their song "Satukan Kami Di Syurga." Other highlights included newcomer Arddley Nicholas winning Best Male Vocal Performance for "Sandiwara Cinta" and Marsha Milan's maiden win for Best Ethnic Song with "Pelangi Pasti." Hazama was honored with his first-ever AIM trophy in Best Original Soundtrack for Film/Drama, and Ella Aminuddin received the Lifetime Achievement Award for her contributions to the music industry.
