Louise Trotter expands Bottega Veneta palette as Milan fashion week highlights Dolce & Gabbana, Scervino and MSGM

Milan, September 27 - After her critically acclaimed debut show at Bottega Veneta last year, British designer Louise Trotter broadened her design repertoire and expanded her product line during her latest collection at Milan Fashion Week. This time, Trotter doubled the size of her leather and raffia tote bags, and infused her suits and dresses with a variety of eye-catching prints, including yellow, red, purple, and floral patterns.

She continued to experiment with woven leather, a specialty of Bottega Veneta, on a trench coat for men and tall boots for women.

Celebrity attendees of the show included singer Solange and rapper Tyler The Creator, who were seated close to Bottega Veneta's ambassadors, actors Julianne Moore and Jacob Elordi. American star Kylie Jenner concluded the show, wearing a voluminous black dress. Models showcased the collections during the Dolce & Gabbana, Ermanno Scervino, and MSGM shows.

Earlier in the day, Dolce & Gabbana had redesigned the wardrobes of prominent Sicilian families for their spring/summer 2027 collection. At their Milan headquarters, the designers showcased a contemporary Sicilian woman who combined lace and faux leopard fur with jeans, or adorned her tailored jacket with multiple necklaces. Dolce & Gabbana's Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce continued to emphasize their signature style - sensual, sometimes flashy, yet artisanal and reassuring.

Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana explained in a note their goal was to "open the wardrobes of the great Sicilian families" and create a dialogue between "the precious and the everyday". CEO Toni Scervino and designer Ermanno Daelli also highlighted their collections, with Scervino presenting a "corsair" woman in a wide red and beige jacket with gold buttons, while Daelli showcased pieces with a rock and sexy edge, designed for adaptable summer outfits.
