Kenyan TikTok personality Patrick Mbacio, ‘The Patrick The Truth,’ dies in Nakuru

Kenyan social media star Patrick Mbacio, known online as "The Patrick The Truth," passed away suddenly in his Nakuru home on Saturday, September 26, 2026. The police confirmed his death, and his body was taken to the Egerton University Mortuary. His family had not yet released details about the cause of death by Sunday morning.

Patrick Mbacio gained popularity on TikTok for his unique lifestyle and interactions with women, which garnered him a large following. He claimed to have hosted over 1,000 women, a claim that sparked widespread online speculation. At one point, he asserted that he possessed a list of 1,200 women he had been with, threatening to expose their identities publicly.

Over a five-year period, he allegedly spent more than Sh6 million entertaining these women, with monthly expenditures around Sh10,000. He also claimed to have been involved with over 3,000 women during this time.

After his financial resources dwindled, Mbacio shifted his focus to motivational speaking, adopting the name "Patrick the Truth." He began sharing his life experiences and lessons with his followers. In recent months, increased attention was drawn to his health, with the news of his diabetes and high blood pressure surfacing in August. In September, he appealed to the women he had previously hosted for assistance in obtaining necessary medication and supplies.

Following his death, social media was flooded with tributes from fans and followers, mourning the loss of a controversial figure who had made a significant impact in Kenya's TikTok community.
