Kano Pillars coach eyes Enyimba scalp

Kano Pillars' assistant coach, Okechukwu Ejeh, has warned that Sunday's match against bottom-placed Enyimba will not be a casual affair, insisting the goal is securing the three points at the Sani Abacha Stadium. Ejeh declared the team is "mentally, physically and tactically ready" for the encounter, adding that they are confident of walking away victorious.

Unbeaten Kano Pillars have scored ten goals in their last four games, with goals coming from Rabiu Ali, Fabian Nworie and Ubong Friday. However, Enyimba currently sit at the bottom of the table, having amassed no points in their last four matches after losing their previous match to Sporting Lagos. Despite the challenging circumstances, Ejeh remains focused on Kano Pillars' long-term aspirations, stating that the team's vision is to compete on the continent and secure a continental ticket.
