GAF sets September 28–30 for cadet documentation, body selection

The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has announced that a three-day Documentation and Body Selection exercise will be held from September 28 to 30, 2026, for qualified applicants participating in the 2026/2027 Enlistment Exercise. Following the closure of online applications on September 23, the event will be conducted at various centers in the Northern and Southern sectors of Ghana.

In the Northern Sector, the exercise will take place at the 4 Infantry Battalion, Uaddara Barracks, Kumasi, for potential Army, Navy, and Air Force cadets. In the Southern Sector, applicants will report to different venues depending on their chosen cadet category. Those applying for Army positions should head to the Nicholson Stadium, while those applying for Navy and Air Force positions should report to the Air Force Base in Accra.

GAF has stated that qualified applicants will be informed of their designated centers and reporting instructions via text message. Upon receiving the notification, participants are expected to adhere to the provided guidelines. This exercise marks the subsequent stage in the enlistment process, following the completion of the online application phase.
