Swift, in her acceptance speech, expressed her gratitude to MTV for providing a platform for music videos and highlighted her extensive involvement in creating 60 music videos over the years, with 18 of them written and directed by her.

She emphasized that the fans' enthusiasm and care for her projects were the primary drivers of her passion for writing and directing music videos.
