‘Don’t waste your energy’: After Salman Khan, Suriya speaks out on dealing with online trolls

Tamil actor Suriya addressed the issue of online trolling at a fan event in Chennai, advising against engaging with trolls. He encouraged his supporters to "spread love" instead of responding to negativity online. Suriya emphasized that trying to change the minds of trolls is often futile, as some people will understand while most won't.

He suggested focusing on personal well-being, family, and spreading positivity instead. The actor highlighted that success cannot be measured solely by box office numbers, but rather by the emotions and memories it evokes. Suriya is currently enjoying the success of his film Vishwanath and Sons, which has grossed Rs 209.46 million worldwide.

He is also involved in projects such as Malayalam director Jithu Madhavan's Tamil directorial debut, Scene, and the action drama Suriya 48, set for release in 2027.
