Cincinnati Bearcats get nighttime Big 12 win over Kansas State

The Cincinnati Bearcats demonstrated their capability for late-night success when they defeated the Kansas State Wildcats 31-26 in their Big 12 opener at historic Nippert Stadium. This victory marked the second straight week in which the Bearcats came back from a halftime deficit to secure a win. The team scored 21 of their 31 points in the second half, after initially trailing 17-10.

The Bearcats' defense held strong, allowing Kansas State just one touchdown in the second half. Running back Cole Tabb was instrumental, rushing for three touchdowns and accumulating 124 yards on the ground. Quarterback Avery Johnson showcased his skills, completing 30 of 50 passes for 291 yards. This win brings the Bearcats to a perfect 4-0 start for the season, marking their first under Coach Scott Satterfield and their seventh since the turn of the century. Kansas State, meanwhile, falls to 3-1 on the season.
