Bay Area sports calendar, Sept. 27-28

On Sunday, the San Francisco Bay Area will host a variety of sports events. In the evening, the Dallas Mavericks will take on the Valkyries in a WNBA first-round playoff game at 6 p.m.

Baseball fans can catch the Los Angeles Dodgers playing the San Francisco Giants at 12 noon, followed by the Houston Astros taking on the San Francisco Giants at 12 noon as well.

College soccer enthusiasts can watch Florida State take on Louisville at 9 a.m., Vanderbilt face off against Tennessee at 9 a.m., and Alabama compete against Oklahoma at 10 a.m. Other college sports events include Cal playing SMU at 11 a.m., and Penn State versus Michigan State at 11 a.m.

In the afternoon, Mississippi will play against Alabama at 1 p.m., and North Carolina will face Wake Forest at 1 p.m. Wisconsin will take on Purdue at 2 p.m. Golf enthusiasts can tune in for the DP World Tour: Open de France Golf at 3:30 a.m., and the Presidents Cup at 11 a.m.

Horse racing fans can watch America's Day at the Races on FS1 at 10 a.m. and FS2 at 1:30 p.m. Motorsports fans can catch the NHRA rockingham qualifying event on FS1 at 8 a.m. and the NHRA rockingham finals on FS1 at noon.

Football fans can tune in to see the Cincinnati Bengals face the Pittsburgh Steelers at 10 a.m., while Seattle will take on Washington at 10:50 a.m., and Arizona will play the 49ers at 11 a.m. Baltimore will host Dallas at 1:25 p.m., and Las Vegas Raiders will take on the New Orleans Saints at 1:25 p.m. The L.A. Rams will face the Denver Broncos at 5:15 p.m.

Soccer fans can watch the Manchester United vs. West Ham United match on CBSSN at 5 a.m., the Nations League: Lithuania vs. Azerbaijan on FS2 at 5:50 a.m., the Nations League: Serbia vs. Netherlands on FS2 at 8:50 a.m., and the Nations League: Germany vs. Greece on FS2 at 11:30 a.m. The NWSL match between Orlando and Bay FC will air on ESPN at 11:30 a.m., and the CONCACAF Nations League: Haiti vs. Costa Rica on FS2 at 2:50 p.m.
