Bargain hunters, bags at the ready get ready as Benalmadena’s streets turn into a shoppers dream

Benalmadena’s streets will become a shopper's paradise this October as the town hosts its fourth annual Outlet Urbano event. The two-day open-air bazaar, set to take place on Friday, October 2 and Saturday, October 3, transforms Arroyo de la Miel into an urban shopping district. The main commercial street, Constitution Avenue, serves as the designated "Outlet Zone" for the weekend, with numerous local businesses and stalls offering discounted fashion, handicrafts, food, and other goods.

The festivities kick off with a vibrant batucada, a lively Brazilian-style percussion parade, marching down Constitution Avenue at 7pm on Friday. The event will also feature a popular fashion show at Plaza de la Mezquita on Saturday, where local shops and brands showcase their latest collections for evening visitors.

A variety of products, ranging from clothing and accessories to children's wear, flamenco attire, footwear, food and drink, crafts, toys, health and beauty items, and even health and beauty stands run by local charities and social organizations, will be on display. These offerings represent a broad spectrum of local trade.

Councillor for Commerce Raul Campos has encouraged residents and visitors to explore the streets and take advantage of the promotions prepared for this edition, emphasizing that the event showcases "close, diverse, and high-quality" local commerce. The Outlet Urbano promises to be a delightful two days for bargain hunters and those looking to explore the town's offerings.
