INAZAWA, Japan - South Korean women's handball team avenged their 29-19 defeat to Japan at the 2023 Hangzhou Asian Games by winning the gold medal at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games on Sunday. After three years of waiting, the two nations met again in the final match. South Korea emerged victorious with a score of 27-23 in the sixth and final round to claim their first gold medal in women's handball since 2018.
