27-Year-Old Hangs Self At Bhopal Hotel While In City For Labour Inspector Exam

On Saturday night, a 27-year-old man named Pawan Bamaniya from Ujjain was found dead in his hotel room in Bhopal, India. Pawan had traveled to the city to take the Labour Inspector examination, which he had been preparing for over time. He was staying at Delta Hotel in Bairagarh following his arrival in Bhopal on September 25. Police have classified his death as unnatural and are investigating whether he took the examination.

The Labour Inspector examination was scheduled to take place on September 26, but it is unclear if Pawan attended the test. Hotel staff noticed that Pawan had not left his room for an extended period and found the door locked from the inside. When they alerted the police, the room was opened, and Pawan was discovered inside, having taken his own life.

A suicide note, mobile phone, and other personal belongings were found in the room. Preliminary evidence suggests that Pawan had ingested a poisonous substance. His family was informed of the tragic incident late on Saturday night, and a post-mortem examination was conducted on Sunday with his relatives present. Pawan's elder brother, TS Bamaniya, stated that their family members are employed in government positions and that Pawan had been preparing for government jobs for a long time.

Despite multiple unsuccessful attempts, Pawan's family claims he experienced significant stress. Police have also recovered a note from Pawan, where he detailed his struggles, repeated failures, and expressed remorse for not being able to meet his family's expectations. The police are now examining hotel records, his mobile phone, and other evidence to determine Pawan's whereabouts and verify if he reached the examination center before his untimely demise.
