West Allegheny secured a hard-fought 21-13 victory over Moon Area in a crucial regional rivalry match. Despite trailing early, West Allegheny's steadfast defense prevented Moon's scoring drive near the end. Coach Bob Palko, entering his second head coaching role, acknowledged his team's determination to win, noting their growth since last week's narrow loss to Montour.

Key contributors included Brodie Cornell, who scored two touchdowns, and Nico Police, who intercepted a crucial pass. Junior Cristiano Kinol threw for 281 yards and two touchdowns, while Savario Vandetti made significant plays on offense as well. Senior Mason Bryan was a dual-threat, rushing for 120 yards and scoring two more touchdowns with deceptive fakes.
