Simultaneously, Iranian media reported that President Masoud Pezeshkian had left New York for Tehran following the United Nations General Assembly, where Iran participated in indirect talks with the U.S. Saudi Arabia claimed to have intercepted a missile launched by Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen, aimed at the city of Khamis Mushait.

Iranian officials stated that Supreme Leader Khamenei, who has not been seen in public since the conflict with the U.S. and Israel began, is in good health. Trump dismissed Iran's proposal, citing Iran's "poor condition," and posted an image of the Strait of Hormuz with the label "Trump Strait" on his social media platform.
