‘The Last of Us’ Season 3 Casts John Goodman, Video Game Stars Laura Bailey and Ian Alexander

HBO's "The Last of Us" Season 3 will bring John Goodman, Ian Alexander, and Laura Bailey into the cast. Alexander previously portrayed Abby and Lev in the "The Last of Us: Part II" video game. Goodman and Alexander will play Joey and Paco, a pair of friends known as "Heroes of the Highway." Laura Bailey will portray Elizabeth, a leader among the Seraphites.

Both actors have agencies - Gersh for Goodman, and Curate for Alexander. Bailey represents CAA. Season 3 will be the last of the HBO drama. Kaitlyn Dever's character Abby will take the lead, following the events of Season 2. Season 2 ended with Abby waking up in a football stadium, with the clock reverting to Seattle Day 1 to reflect the events of Season 2 from her perspective.

Season 3 will see the return of Ariela Barer, Tati Gabrielle, and Spencer Lord as Mel, Nora, and Owen, respectively. Jason Ritter and Patrick Wilson will also join the cast. Danny Ramirez, who played Manny in four episodes of Season 2, is replaced by Jorge Lendeborg Jr. Season 3 is scheduled for release in 2027.
