Police search for man after ‘physical interaction’ with child in Brampton

Police in Peel Region are actively searching for a man after an incident involving unwanted physical contact with a child in Brampton. On September 23, a young child was walking in the vicinity of Flamingo Crescent and Forsythia Road when they encountered an unknown man around 4 p.m. The man engaged in a brief physical interaction with the child before they managed to escape.

Thankfully, the child did not suffer any physical injuries. The suspect is described as a South Asian male between the ages of 25 and 30, standing approximately six feet tall with a slender build. He has straight, medium-length black hair that reaches his ears. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black cloth face mask covering the lower part of his face, a white t-shirt, and long brown pants. The man was last seen walking eastbound on Forsythia Road toward Folkstone Crescent.

Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has any relevant video footage, such as dashcam or doorbell cameras, to come forward and provide information to help identify the suspect. The police release on Saturday emphasized the importance of community involvement in locating the individual responsible for this unwanted encounter.
