NITDA says Nigeria must embrace AI-enabled digital services

The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has urged Nigeria to move beyond traditional outsourcing and focus on developing artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled digital services that can compete on a global scale. Speaking at a "Hire from Nigeria" session during the 81st United Nations General Assembly in New York, NITDA Director-General Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi emphasized the potential of Nigeria's young and talented population in building a stronger digital economy.
