Monkey enters Ranchi wine shop, drinks liquor and falls asleep: WATCH

In Ranchi, a monkey made headlines after entering a wine shop in Ormanjhi’s Block Chowk and drinking liquor before falling asleep inside the establishment. The incident took place on Friday, catching locals by surprise. Upon entering the shop, the monkey startled the staff, prompting one of them to attempt to escort it out. The animal responded by biting the shopkeeper, causing him to retreat.

The monkey then proceeded to pick up a liquor bottle and drink from it before settling down inside the store. News of the peculiar visitor quickly spread, drawing a crowd to the scene. A video recorded at the site later surfaced on social media, capturing the monkey peacefully sleeping inside the shop. One witness, observing the monkey, claimed it was female and pregnant, pointing to an empty liquor bottle and stating the animal had consumed the entire contents.
