Lindsay Clancy case update: Patrick Clancy's deleted Reddit posts reveal her alarming struggles before children’s deaths

Patrick Clancy, Lindsay Clancy's estranged husband, had been monitoring her mental health through his now-deleted Reddit account since 2017. Concerns about her sleep, anxiety, and mental well-being were evident in his posts, which drew attention to her deteriorating mental state after the birth of their third child. In December 2022, Patrick expressed his reservations about Lindsay's Zoloft prescription, noting the severe insomnia she experienced within a week of starting the medication.

His posts were shared seven weeks before the murders of their three children. Patrick's posts also revealed his distress at Lindsay's rapid weight loss and the fact that she went 48 hours without sleep at one point. He questioned whether her medication contributed to any thoughts of harming others. Lindsay's mental health continued to worsen, with Patrick describing her as severely depressed and suicidal by December 15.

She was hospitalized multiple times, but on January 24, Patrick testified that she seemed better after her release from McLean Hospital. Despite this, she committed a murder-suicide the same day, and Patrick has since remarried and is starting a family.
