Lawyers for Rep. Max Miller again subpoena Sen. Bernie Moreno, father of ex-wife

Lawyers representing embattled Republican Rep. Max Miller have once again issued a subpoena to his former father-in-law, Sen. Bernie Moreno, as part of the ongoing custody battle between Miller and his ex-wife, Emily Moreno. This is the second time Miller's legal team has sent a subpoena to Moreno and his wife. Miller is currently locked in a contentious re-election campaign in Ohio's 7th congressional district, and Senator Moreno had earlier this summer called for Miller to withdraw from the race.

The custody dispute between Miller and Emily Moreno has involved serious allegations of abuse, which Miller has vehemently denied. Miller is also currently under investigation by the House Ethics Committee, a move he himself requested in August. It is believed that the committee would not release any findings before the midterms, as is the norm in the months leading up to an election.
