Joint Forces chief meets Yemen's Tariq Saleh to discuss military readiness

In Riyadh, Saudi Joint Forces Commander Lieutenant General Fayyad Al-Salman engaged in discussions with Tariq Saleh, a member of Yemen's Presidential Leadership Council and commander of the National Resistance Forces. The meeting aimed to bolster Yemeni military preparedness and enhance coordination among forces to achieve state restoration and national institution stability.

Lieutenant General Al-Salman expressed gratitude to Lieutenant General Tariq Saleh for his leadership within the Presidential Leadership Council and command of the National Resistance Forces, acknowledging the considerable sacrifices of the resistance in the fight to restore the state and thwart the coup. In response, Lieutenant General Tariq Saleh lauded the Joint Forces' steadfast support for the Yemeni Armed Forces and National Resistance Forces in bolstering their capabilities, and valued ongoing initiatives to unify ranks and rehabilitate forces to meet their national duties.

Both commanders emphasized the significance of unity, joint efforts, and complementary roles, and the necessity to maintain coordination and cooperation to bolster morale, rehabilitate units, and elevate combat readiness in the pursuit of a secure, stable future for the Yemeni people and the restoration of state institutions.
