JBL Live Flex 4 review: excellent open-fit earbuds that rival Apple’s AirPods

The JBL Live Flex 4 are a pair of earbuds that prioritize comfort, making them an excellent choice for those who want to listen on the go without discomfort. Their lightweight and relaxed fit means that they won't become tiresome or irritating after a while, unlike some earbuds with a tight in-ear seal.

One of the standout features of the JBL Live Flex 4 is their smart charging case, which includes a touchscreen for adjusting settings such as ANC, EQ, and playback. This eliminates the need to open the JBL Headphones app and provides convenient access to a range of features.

While the JBL Headphones app offers additional functionality, such as the ability to set a custom wallpaper for the earbuds case and activate the LDAC codec for better sound quality, the JBL Live Flex 4's performance is what truly sets them apart. Their advanced True Adaptive Noise Cancelling 2.0 is surprisingly effective at muffling outside sounds, providing a decent level of noise cancellation during walks and office work.
