Jai’Den Thomas has 167 total yards and 3 touchdowns to lead UNLV past Akron 38-10

Jackson Arnold completed 290 yards and three touchdowns while Jai’Den Thomas added 167 total yards and three scores, leading UNLV to a 38-10 victory over Akron on Saturday. The Rebels secured the win during the first possession of the second half when Thomas scored from 40 yards out after a wide-open catch. Thomas also registered a 16-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter, extending UNLV's lead to 21-10.

Taz Reddicks contributed 116 receiving yards, including a 59-yard touchdown. The Rebels defense managed three interceptions by Mumu Bin-Wahad, Tre Fulton, and Cam Santee. Akron's Brayden Roggow was 14 of 25 for 194 yards with two interceptions. The winner will face California in a home game next Saturday, while Akron will host Central Michigan.
