In broad daylight, man killed outside Rajasthan police station

A 40-year-old man, Saikun Khan, was fatally attacked outside a police station in Rajasthan on September 24. Khan was riding his motorcycle to buy a tire in Baroda Meo market when he dropped off a fellow villager near a bank. According to police, the assailant, Harsh Moortikar, stopped Khan and attacked him with a stone. There was no recorded enmity between the two, and police suspect the attacker has mental health issues.

Khan died while being transported to a district hospital. Protesters outside the police station and Alwar district hospital demanded accountability, compensation for Khan's family, and an investigation. The incident has raised concerns about the police response and the state of law and order in Rajasthan.
