Holman and Harris combine for 3 TDs as Wyoming downs Hawaii 27-10

Markell Holman and Samuel Harris combined for three touchdowns as Wyoming defeated Hawaii 27-10 in Saturday's Mountain West opener at Laramie, Wyoming. Holman rushed for 87 yards and two scores, while Harris contributed 94 yards and a touchdown. The Cowboys (2-2, 1-0) took a 13-3 halftime lead after Holman's 1-yard touchdown run, extending their lead to 20-3 with Holman's 18-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.

Hawaii (1-3, 0-2) answered with a 20-yard touchdown from Micah Alejado to Devon Tauaefa with 12:11 left. Wyoming's Tyler Hughes passed for 204 yards without an interception, while Harris finished with an 18-yard touchdown run to seal the game. Hawaii's Alejado threw for 226 yards and a touchdown, and DeVon Rice led the Rainbow Warriors with 75 rushing yards on 11 carries. Wyoming will face North Dakota State next Saturday, while Hawaii will host San Jose State.
