Five arrested for creating fake registration documents and selling lands in Krishna district

The Penamaluru police in the Krishna district have arrested five individuals for allegedly creating fake registration documents and selling vacant lands without the consent of the original owners. According to Gannavaram Deputy Superintendent of Police Kosuri Dharmendra, the gang specifically targeted senior citizens, bedridden patients, and Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) to sell valuable properties.

A victim reported the crime, leading to the arrest of the accused and the seizure of duplicate documents related to a parcel of land in Kanuru village. The arrested individuals, natives of NTR and Krishna districts, were identified as M. Adireddy, M. Venkata Ramana, Phani Kumar, U. Sambasiva Udaya Bhaskar, R. Shiva Anjaneyulu (also known as RMP Shiva), and K. Amaleswara Rao.

The gang reportedly created fake death certificates for the landowner and his wife, and presented a woman as the daughter of the couple, while the actual daughter was living abroad. The police noted that the gang's strategy involved identifying unused vacant plots and fabricating documents to facilitate their sale. Superintendent of Police V. Vidyasagar Naidu commended the Penamaluru police for apprehending the gang and advised the public to regularly monitor their properties.
