B.C. Conservatives’ Doerkson, ex-premier Clark attend Lions game

In Vancouver, Lorne Doerkson, interim leader of the B.C. Conservative party, and former premier Christy Clark were seen at a B.C. Lions football game on Friday night. Doerkson, who has been in the role since Sunday following the resignation of Kerry-Lynne Findlay, has not held any public events or press conferences since the provincial election was called on Tuesday.

Clark, who led the province from 2011 to 2017, wore Lions gear alongside Doerkson as they watched the team take on the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Prior to the election call, Clark had expressed her disapproval, stating that the prospect of an election so soon into Premier David Eby's term was "absolutely unheard of" and "a disgrace."
